Creating a new opening – panel house Prague

The investor’s wish was to make a new opening in the load-bearing wall of a panel house in Prague. In order not to disturb the static stability of the building, it was necessary to first provide additional lintel and reinforcement of the wall above the future opening. Due to the high demands on the load-bearing capacity of the lintel and the wall material (reinforced concrete), glued carbon slats were chosen.
